UoT’s 22nd ASRB Meeting Focuses on Research Excellence at University

The 22nd meeting of the Advanced Studies & Research Board (ASRB) of the University of Turbat was held on 30th June 2025, chaired by Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, Vice Chancellor of the University.
In his opening remarks, the Vice Chancellor emphasized the importance of promoting a research culture within the university and enhancing the quality of graduate research work. During the meeting, Dr. Waseem Barkat, Director Graduate Studies, presented the agenda items, which included synopsis defenses, thesis submissions, evaluations, and viva reports for various graduate programs.
The board members reviewed and approved these academic matters in line with university policies and Higher Education Commission (HEC) guidelines.
The meeting was attended by Faculty Deans, the Registrar, Director QEC, Director ORIC, and the Principal of Government Shaheed Ayoub Buledi College, Turbat.
The Vice Chancellor appreciated the active participation and valuable input of all members and reiterated the university’s commitment to strengthening its research and academic standards. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by the Vice Chancellor to all participants for their contributions towards advancing the academic and research goals of the institution.
