The University of Turbat (UoT) has achieved a landmark as its Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) earned a remarkable score of 69.64 out of 100 in the Yearly Progress Report (YPR) 2023-2024. This is learned from a letter issued by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan last week.

This is a remarkable achievement for a relatively young and emerging institution like the University of Turbat. It highlights UoT’s continued commitment to maintaining and enhancing quality in its academic programs and institutional processes since its inception.
This accomplishment also shows that the University of Turbat has ensured the effective implementation of HEC Policies through its QEC.
According to the university spokesperson, this achievement also reflects the visionary leadership of UoT’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, the dedication of academic and administrative staff, and the untiring efforts of the QEC team led by Dr. Riaz Ahmed. Their collective efforts enabled UoT to achieve this remarkable improvement in the QEC score, rising from 64 to nearly 70, noting a 6-point increase over the last academic year's score.
Congratulating the university community on this achievement, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan said that the UoT is on the right track, and with our concerted efforts, the University of Turbat will soon be among the top leading universities in terms of quality benchmarks.
